Hidden within the forests of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, La Leona Waterfall is a natural wonder that will blow you away. The stunning blue waterfall gets its hue from a chemical reaction caused by volcanic minerals. You Will see the unique and stunning turquoise water, this creates stunning scenary which is perfect for photography or as just a place to have a good time in the nature.🤟🐒🐤🦜.

Our tour begins in Curubandé, 25 minutes from Central Liberia in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.  , get ready and then follow us for 10 minutes to the trailhead.  From there we begin to walk in the forest to the foot of the Blanco River and that is where the real adventure begins.  We will tour incredible rock formations, canyons, caves and crystal clear waters until we see the La Leona Waterfall at the end.

 To take the tour to La Leona waterfall you must prepare and bring:

Closed Shoes (It is prohibited to do the tour in Sandals)

Sportswear

Extra shoes to change into after the tour

Extra clothes to change after the tour

A towel.

There are plenty of species to see, bubbling hot springs, and lush rainforests in the nearby Tenorio Volcano National Park. Hiking along the park's well-kept paths gives visitors the opportunity to fully experience the area's abundant wildlife (Rio Celeste Aventuras).
